Joe Luis
Contreras, 59. Born on October 7, 1949 in Mc Allen, TX. Went home to be
with our Lord on October 26, 2008 in Aurora, CO. Joe is survived by his
lovely wife, Esther Baca-Contreras; 2 beautifully daughters, Lisa (Jesus)
Garcia and Michelle Contreras; step-daughter, Tammy Ruiz all in Kenosha,
WI; step-children, Timothy (Jennifer) Baca, Trisha (Armando) Gallegos all
of Colorado; grandchildren, Chi Anthony (12), Xander (4), Zach (16), Mario
(7), Vanessa (22), Sergio (18) and Brandon (16)all of Kenosha, WI;
grandchildren, Jaylynn (9), Jizell (11 months), Mattea (7), twins, Mathias
and Natalysse (15 months) all of Colorado. Joe came from a large and close
family with 9 siblings, 3 brothers and 6 sisters, Delfina (Jose) Anzaldua,
Elivia Hernandez, Manuel (Esther) Contreras, Jimmy (Janie) Contreras,
Estella Ynosencio, Esther Gonzales, Maria Del Jesus Evangelista, Vasilia
(Rafael) Escobedio and John (Yvonne) Contreras. Service for Joe will be on
November 3, 2008. The Viewing will be 9a.m. to 11a.m. followed by a
special service at 11a.m. at Christ Church Apostolic, 14007 East 22nd
Place, Aurora, CO 80011. The family will receive friends and loved ones at
the church following the grave side service, for food and a time of
remembering and celebrating the life of Joe. We would also like to take
this time to thank all of you who stood by us during our time of sorrow.
Joe will be missed ever so much. We must all keep fighting the great fight
of faith, so we can join him one day soon around the throne of God. In the
place where there will be no more pain, tears, or sorrow, but joy and
happiness will fill the days there. God Bless and keep all of you in his
loving care. Thank you for all the prayers, cards, food and most of all
the words of encouragement you have given to us at this time. In lieu of
