Our mortuary firm has been serving families for nearly 40 years and is the largest family owned funeral firm in the entire state of Colorado. Our facilities are beautifully designed with large chapel areas, reception rooms and foyers that bring a warm welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. All locations are updated with the latest technology for families to enjoy video memorial tributes, quality sound equipment and grand pianos are also available to customize the quality of your service the way you imagined it could be. Our founders Larry & Debbie Romero, opened the first location in Alamosa, CO., in 1977 and since then, 9 other locations have opened in various parts of the state. Our firm has based its core values and principles on honesty, dignity and respect for all families we serve. Learn the legacy.

Our family are graduates of the San Francisco College of Mortuary Science, with the first members of the family graduating in 1975. After being licensed as funeral directors and embalmers, our family opened the first mortuary in Alamosa, Colorado on July of 1977. Thereafter expanding to 9 other locations in the San Luis Valley, Monte Vista, Antonito, Walsenburg, La Junta, Pueblo, Pueblo West, Denver and now Lakewood. Our family services Colorado from the New Mexico line to North Denver, involving the entire family in the various locations.We are known for serving familes in Colorado for 35 years. Our services and committed to serving with compassion, dignity and respect for all our families. We are also known for our embalming preparations and restorative arts. We serve all faiths and religions. We have been one of Colorado's largest family-owned funeral providers servicing most of Colorado.

Larry Romero
The founder of the Romero Family Funeral Home is Larry Romero with his brother Leonard Romero to follow. Both Larry and Leonard were the first members of the Romero Family to get their license in San Francisco, California. Larry Romero and his sons run the Funeral Homes in North and parts of Southern Colorado, with Leonard Romero running the Funeral Homes in far South of Colorado

Debbie Romero
Debbie Romero is Both Licensed as a Certified Funeral Director and a Licensed Embalming Technician, Debbie is also a professional Singer who now has several CD's that are available at most Christian Bookstores, she also sings at most Funerals, for the families we serve. Debbie has a degree from Berean University with Pastorail Theology and Doctrine with an emphasis on Christian education, and has many different talents related to that field.

Angelo Romero
In Pueblo the Funeral Directors are, Angelo Romero, son of Larry Romero. Angelo is a licensed Embalming Technician and a certified Funeral Director, in the State of Colorado, as well as having a license to operate a Crematory

Andres Romero
In Denver the Funeral Director and owner of the Romero Family Funeral Home is Andres Romero, who is Larry Romero’s youngest son. Andres is a licensed Embalming Technician (C.E.T. E034), and is also a certified Funeral Director (C.F.D. F078), along with having his license as a Crematory Operator. Andres Romero graduated in Pueblo, Colorado at Centennial High School, then going on to P.C.C., then finishing with getting licensed in his field through the State of Colorado. Andres is now running his part of the Romero Family Funeral Home, in the Mile High City, Denver, Colorado.

Bob Romero
Bob Romero, the oldest son of Larry Romero is also a licensed Embalming Technician and is a certified Funeral Director in the State of Colorado.

Allen Romero
Allen Romero is a superb Embalming technician, and is very talented in restorative arts, along with many other talents, you will see his work out of the Denver facility, along with many Funeral Homes in many other cities, as he does Embalming work for families who have services in many other cities across the U.S. and around the world.
