Alonzo (Lonnie) E. Coleman, Jr. April 18, 1936 ~ June 15, 2022 It is with deep sadness we share with family and friends the passing of our Beloved, Alonzo (Lonnie) Coleman, Jr; beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather. Pops, Cool Breeze or Sonny as known by many, was born on April 18, 1936 to his parents, Alonzo E. Coleman, Sr and Anna Mae Coleman. He was the second child born into the family. He attended Manuel High School in Denver, CO. He served his country in the Army National Guard for over 8 years. He worked as a Security Officer for Hospital Shared Services for 20 plus years. He enjoyed playing music, singing, playing his keyboard and guitar. Playing online dominos and pool. Watchin cops, True Crime; and did we mention playing music? Lonnie will be forever be the music in our hearts. He is preceded in death by his parents, Nanny & Bampoo; Brother Donald, Sisters Jaqueline and Shirley; Grandson Tanner. Lonnie is survived by those who will cherish his loving memory, cherished wife of 50 years, Diane Coleman; Daughters, Tanya, Sheri, Tammy, Heather and April; Grandchildren, Marquell, Jordan, DeAngelo, Aaron, Desi, Ardell (Bq-boy) , Trevyon, Taisaiah, Shaylene, AJ and Dyonis; Great Grandchildren, Marcus Jr., London and Lavayah; Sisters, Nancy, Judy, Esther and Gloria; a multitude of Nieces and Nephews. Visitation & Viewing will be on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at Romero Funeral ~ Chapel of Repose, 15150 E. Iliff Avenue, Aurora, at 11:00am; with a Celebration of Life Service at 12:00pm. Following the Service a Reception will take place at the Romero Reception Hall from 2:00pm to 5:00pm
