Elizabeth"Liz" Elaine Lucero

December 18, 1963 - January 4, 2022

Elizabeth "Liz" Elaine Lucero, 58, went to be home with the Lord on January 4, 2022. Liz made her grand entrance into the world on December 18, 1963 in Alamosa, Colorado, daughter to Pastor Gilbert E. Lucero and Della Lucero. Liz loved the Lord with all her heart. God shined through her, this was evident to all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Liz was a beautiful, devoted, kind and loving mother, grandma, sister, cousin and best friend who loved reading her bible and singing Praise and Worship music. Liz’s greatest joy was spending time with her kids, grandkids, sisters, brother, mom and friends. She had a passion to love people and cared deeply for everyone she met, she never knew a stranger. Her kids describe her as the most precious and perfect mama. She would light up any room with her contagious laugh and her beautiful smile. She will be remembered for her caring and selfless nature. She is preceded in death by her Father Pastor Gilbert E. Lucero. She will live on through her 3 children Yvette (Ismael German) Solis, Yvonne (Robbie Gonzales) Solis, and Tj Solis; 8 grandchildren Arianna and AJ Ulibarri, Alycia and Josiah Gonzalez, Audrina Payan, Kaine, Arriel and Keanu Solis; mother Della Lucero; siblings Joel Lucero, Margie Martinez, Lena Martinez, Loretta Ehrhardt, and Marcie Whiting. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She will be fiercely missed by all who knew and loved her. To know our mama was to love her. Everyone is to wear the color white for her services. Burial on Friday after service in Capulin.
