James Grant Houghton February 5, 1959 ~ January 2, 2022 Visitation, Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 3:00pm, with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 4:00pm at Romero Funeral Home ~ Chapel of Repose, 15150 E. Iliff Avenue, Aurora, Colorado. Jim was born February 5, 1959 in Utica ,NY, to his parents Charles Frederick Houghton and Helen Leola Houghton; he was the the fifth child of nine born into the family. Jim served in the United States Air Force; was a professional in Telecommunication. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, Star Trek, Sci-Fi movies and TV shows and traveling. He greatest enjoyment was spending time with his kids, grandkids and nieces and nephews. Social events with friends and meeting new people made him happy, especially his dogs (pets) and working on cars. James is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Frederick Houghton and Hellen Leola Houghton; Brother, Frederick Allen Houghton; Sister Donna Houghton Blackwell. Those who James is survived by and who will cherish is loving memory Children, Christina Houghton, Tyler Houghton and Alex Houghton; Grandchildren, Sofia & Rodolfo Lopez, III; Siblings, Charles, Joseph, Helen L, Michael, Katrina Logos and Lucille Phillips; Many extended family and friends.
