    Jeremiah "Miah" Che-Baca

    July 7, 1989 - April 1, 2022

Jeremiah "Miah" Che-Baca earned his wings on April 1, 2022. He was born in Denver on July 7, 1989 to Tony John Baca and Anette Folks. He is preceded in death with his stepfather Rich McParland; grandmothers Betty Rose Paz and Patricia Baca. Survived by his children Miah Baca, Isaiah Perez, Jonies Baca, and Jeremiah Baca Jr.; parents Tony Baca and Anette Folks; siblings Che Baca, Malorie Baca Medina, and Johnny Baca. He has a very large family of several aunts, uncles and many cousins that he grew up with. At one point, Jeremiah and his siblings lived with his aunt Maria and uncle Bobby, his second parents. Was such a joy having them in the home. He would always hangout with his cousins, play hide and seek, video games, play action figures and was just an overall great big brother to them. Jeremiah was a proud father, spending time with his children on a daily basis that brought him great joy. To his children Jeremiah was their superman. Miah was an amazing artist, he loved drawing and painting. His art reflected his heart whether it was full of love or pain. He was a goofball on more than one occasion, Miah loved chasing a brown bear out in Granby. Why? Only he can tell you that. He was a daredevil like his brother Johnny and all of his cousins. If you asked him to go jump in an ice cold lake in the winter just for the heck of it, he would say yes, and the boys would follow. Miah would do anything for his family, that's how much love he had for them. His family described him as a very strong, loving, generous, helpful, and respectful young man and son. He greeted anyone he came in contact with respect and he always had a smile on his face. Not only did he touch our hearts but he made an impact on each and every one of us in this room that will last an eternity. We lost Jeremiah but God gained a beautiful angel. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him!
