Leonardo R. Alfaro (Leonard) was born on Tuesday, April 9, 1940 in Lytle, Texas to Nieben Alfaro Sr. and Maria Reyna Alfaro. He was one of eleven children born to this union. Leonard received his diploma from Lytle High School where he was one of their best baseball players. He was the hardworking business owner of Quality Hauling that did concrete and hauling for over 25 years. Leonard loved sports, especially football and baseball. He had a rich heritage including family that worked with Poncho Villa. He will be forever remembered for always being happy, whistling and cracking jokes. He had the funniest little sayings. Leonard loved Sandra Lucero with all his heart. He was an amazing husband, dad, Grandpa and man. On Monday, February 7, 2022 Leonardo went home to be with the Lord. He will forever be in our hearts.
