Miguel A. Medina Jr. was born to his father Miguel A. Medina Sr. and his mother Martha Griego Medina on March 30,1934 in Las Animas, Colorado. With his family by his side, he was called home to be with the Lord, on August 2, 2022 in Northglenn, Colorado. Miguel was survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Anita Medina. He was the father of 4 children: Debby Medina, Sandra Medina-Brown, Paula Medina, and Miguel Medina III. He adored all his 8 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Miguel was a bright light in this world. He was an absolute joy to anyone who had the privilege of meeting him. His smile and laugh were contagious. He was the sweetest man with the biggest heart. He had a profound impact on many lives, and he loved his family dearly. He enjoyed many hobbies including fishing, watching western movies, having yard sales and collecting items that he treasured throughout his years. He was the man for any job especially when it came to making repairs or creating something new. Regardless of the condition, he would put so many items to use and you can bet, he always had exactly what you needed. Miguel enjoyed the holidays with his family, but the Fourth of July was most special to him. Throwing black cats at your feet was his signature move! His sense of humor and playful personality was unmatched. He lived for pulling pranks and seeing your reaction. He loved to goof around just to make everyone laugh. Playing with his grandchildren and great grandchildren brought him so much happiness. Miguel taught his family what it means to be resilient in the face of adversity. He passed on so much knowledge and demonstrated the values of true sacrifice, selflessness and diligence. He was a remarkable man and will be incredibly missed. He loved The Lord with all his heart, and it was evident in the way he lived his life and how he treated those around him. We are extremely blessed to have had him as our Hero and we are grateful that one day we will see him again.
