    December 4, 1972 - September 21, 2021

    Scott Michael Crawford Decemeber 4, 1972 ~ September 21, 2021 Scott Michael Crawford of Broomfield, Colorado passed away on September 21, 2021 at 48 years old from liver disease. Scott was born on December 4, 1972 in Browning, MT to Debbie Powell-Taylor and Alan Crawford. Scott was an enrolled member of the Blackfeet Tribe and grew up on the Blackfeet reservation. He went to Cardston High School in Alberta, Canada where he played hockey. He attended the University of Montana in Missoula, MT and Flathead Valley Community College in Kalispell, MT. Scott married Shay Coloroso in 1999. Together they had two beautiful daughters Malana and Halle which were Scott’s pride and joy. Scott worked for the City of Denver as a 9-1-1 Dispatcher for the past 16 years. Prior to that he served as a Law Enforcement Ranger in Glacier National Park and as an EMT for Babb/St. Mary Ambulance. Scott was a family man and treasured his relationships with the family. He loved spending time in Babb, living the simple life and shooting the breeze with friends and family. He also enjoyed spending time with his two daughters. Scott immensely enjoyed Star Wars, Disney, comics, movies, theatre, drawing, horror and Halloween. Scott was infamous for wearing graphic t-shirts and referencing movies. Scott was survived by his daughters Malana and Halle Crawford, mother Debbie Powell-Taylor, his father Alan (Lillian) Crawford, brother Josh (Sarah) Taylor, sister Yolanda (Darius) Jones, ex-wife Shay Coloroso Crawford, his Aunts Dona Rutherford, Denise Taylor, Rebecca (Dan) Foster and Lisa (Keith Vandenberg) Crawford, his uncles Kenny (Connie) Crawford, Chris (Audrey) Boyd and John Crawford, his cousins that were raised as siblings Jaime (Toby) Stephens and Tyler (Stacia) Augare and numerous other cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his great grandparents Ethelyn Powell, Josephine and Carson Boyd, grandparents Doug and Carole Taylor, Henry Crawford and Mae Boyd, uncles Doug “Bill” Taylor and Ralph Fulgham. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Crawford home on September 29th in Broomfield, CO and in Babb, MT at a future date. Scott will be buried in the Powell Family Cemetery in Babb, MT.
